UPDATE: Reynolda Pool Restoration Project

The past two weeks have been busy ones for the Pool House at Reynolda. After lead abatement was complete, the work crews carefully removed the individual glass panes and parts of the roof structure, then thoroughly cleaned the frames. It has been very exciting to witness the structure open up! The work on the roof will continue over the coming weeks. Visit the Museum’s Flickr page to see latest images of the pool restoration progress. Next step is to select lighting fixture for the space.

The project is getting noticed! The Reynolda Pool House and #ReynoldaPool blog series was featured this month in Winston-Salem Monthly and the Winston-Salem Journal. The article declared Reynolda’s indoor pool “the most famous pool in Winston-Salem.”
