Exhibition Event, Afterhours

Pay-What-You-Wish Thursday: Oh, Hoppy Day

Date: Thu, April 18, 2019
Time: 4:30pm - 8:00pm

Reynolda House Museum of American Art

Admission is pay-what-you-wish from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Cash donations to the Museum accepted.

Gather with friends after hours at Reynolda for music, art-making, a cash bar, and light refreshments. On this two special night at the Museum, hours are extended and our admission fee is waived. Cash donations that support the operations of the Museum are welcome.

Just in time for Easter, get in the spirit with an all-ages art activity and listening party inspired by Hopper to Pollock. The exhibition focuses on the art collections of Edward Root and Barbara Millhouse, and at 6 p.m., we’ll focus on your collections, be it stamps, coins, figurines, or thimbles. 88.5 WFDD will lead us in a listening party focused on selected excerpts from NPR stories all about, you guessed it, collecting.

It says on the April 18 description that there will be music, cash bar and light refreshments. Is that in addition to the listening event? What time for the above music etc! I have 19 people coming with me on that date to enjoy the event and house.

Hi there! Music and refreshments will be ongoing through the evening, beginning around 4:30 or so. We can't wait to have you and your group! Please reach out with any additional questions.
