Family First Workshop

These two-hour workshops begin at 2 p.m. the first Sunday of each month for elementary school-aged children accompanied by an adult. Advance registration is required; please call 336.758.5599. $8 members/$10 non-members per person.
February 3: Valentine Workshop
Create mixed-media valentines inspired by artwork in the Museum's collection.
Take inspiration from the styling and arrangement of celebrity photographs in Star Power: Edward Steichen's Glamour Photography.
April 7: Glamorize Your Wardrobe
Bring old t-shirts to cut, decorate, or turn into fashion accessories, and jeans or other clothing to embellish.
Use the power of the sun and a photographic negative to create a single color print onto a t-shirt or other cotton fabric with Lumi photo-sensitive Inkodye.™
Use colorful paper pulp to design and make your own bright, impressionistic, handmade paper, inspired by The Armory Show: One Hundred Years Later.
