Older Adults

American Arts Discovery for Older Adults is a multiple visit program that began at Reynolda House in 1981. In this program, groups tour different parts of the museum and engage in a relevant hands-on art activity. The tour experience and art projects are designed with the special needs of the elderly in mind. Participants often come from assisted living and community programs and have a wide range of interests, abilities and backgrounds. The program is free of charge to participants and all supplies are provided.
